Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because it helps me listen to my pronunciation and correct it, either a word or a syllable, as well as the presentation is in a conversational tone I realized that I have some q crutches, is also useful because it gives the use of a tool, that I did not know how works and, now I can use for other activities in and outside of school. I have say that first was hard to use screen-cast-o-matic, but once that I know how to use it is simple and practical.

I like the presentation was like that but I think doing it in front of the classmates could help too.
Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because . . .sometimes, when we talk in public, and especially in English, nerves betray us and we lose a little notion of what we mean, or at least to me happens.
ResponderEliminarUsing electronic support I liked this a lot, since the former occasions, if you mess up you can re-do the recording, or simply put a pause, which we could not do during a live performance. But most important to me is the fact that it gives you much more confidence in yourself to make the presentation, and in turn, drives you to want to do this later, with public and in real time.

ResponderEliminarI chose your presentation because I belive that the topic is so important to us, because all products have its own color psycology, and with your presentation, we can understand now the reason that have the companys to use a specific colors, in order to convince people to use or choose your merchandise or services, instead of the competition.
I was surprised to learn that my favorite colors, black and red, respectively represent the power, intelligence and elegance, and energy. I actually laughed a lot while you explain these slides.

Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because it was a very good way to develop my habilities on looking for information in English, speaking and listening the language, it´s a funny and enjoyable activity, and now I can use Screencasto-o-matic to do more practice of speaking, and for doing homework for my major.

And for example I knew that th pourple is a color for mourning. And I have a question? How we can know waht say a color? I've heard your presentation and it's a very interesting topic this LHC; I think that maybe it is the most important human achievement nowadays, but it's amazing the amount of people and the amount of intelligent people that are working on this project to make it possible to know the origins of the universe. I think you've done a good study of them and how they are used today, is very important to attract attention and that the client has confidence.
in architecture, white and green colors are widely used in the presentations, because, as you explained, are colors that bring peace, purity and creativity, and also help to give breadth to the spaces and sense of well being and nature.

I think your presentation was great, I mean I have already hear about it but something that really surprised me was the fact that in China white is the color of dead wow that is really amazing I mean here in Mexico we use the purple to represent dead but not white well I guess is used for dead children or something like that but not to represent dead in general.

Wow I really enjoyed hearing this presentation, it was great I guess because of I didn´t know anything about Son Jarocho I also didn´t know that the Tlacotalpan carnal was so famous around the world.
Opinion:
I think is useful in two sense first that we improve our pronunciation and second it works in order to have more general culture well I think that so I enjoyed well being sincere more less because when I have already finished my oral presentation I realized that the microphone it was switched off, but in general I think is a good and creative strategy in order to practice your pronunciation and fluency.

I have seen your presentation about Janis Joplin and I think is amazing!!! y supposed you are fan from her, me too!!! She is a fabulous singer who left her label in music history with her powerful voice and energy; she was and still be unique!!! absolute achievement of humanity. About this activity:
I have enjoyed this activity a lot, maybe because it was from something that I really love, also I think was very important because this helped to us to talk with freedom like in the real life. I have to recognize that was hard in the first time because I was very nervous and I forget the word but in the end I think it was a very funny and important activity for our development in the English language.

Also for me it was fun and interesting and using tools like Screen-o-matic was easier and simplified work.
The only thing was I wish I had more time to prepare it, I would prefer to make this kind of tasks at the beginning than make it at the final.

Trough the cinema, the people can visit imaginary worlds, the films can interpret human feelings or also reflect political and social conflicts. Doing this oral presentation was useful to me because I could listen to myself and correct my own mistakes, also, it was an enjoyable activity because we could share with the rest of the group one of our passions. I think this kind of works make the learning process easier and enjoyable.

ResponderEliminarI love music and went I see the name of your presentation I feel happy, but I don`t think that “The Son Jarocho” is a humanity achievement, but it doesn`t matter. I like all the music that use the Harp, her sound is very good, I have three keyboards but the sound of harp is not very good like the sound of a real harp, so I like to learn to play harp.
For me was very interesting to know the origin of The Son Jarocho, it was a mix of Spanish, indigenous and African music; and some instruments that I didn`t know like mosquito, marimbola and Horse jawbone.
Reflection
I think that the oral presentation is a good form for speaking evaluation because we didn`t lose class listen to my classmate, but for me was very good because I learn to use the page of internet when I record my presentation because how my brother like the music to I teach him and I can do some tutorials using this tool.

Hi margot, I choose your presentation, because I´m fan of Janis Joplin, and I haven´t idea that you too.
She was a woman with a powerful and wonderful voice and it´s very sad her dead. I think that if she still alive, probably she would make awsome things.
All her life is very interesting and maybe mysterious like her voice and I think that she lived her life to the limit.

About the activity:
For me, doing this activity was very fun and interesting, because I met this useful tool to make presentations and I think I can use it for many oral presentations in the future. One thing that I dindn´t like, was that I had problems at the moment to upload my presentation, but anyway I liked to do this activity.

Yeah Girl!! You know about music, Janis Joplin has the most misterious voice in the whole world in my opinion, and it's wonderfull that you considered that as an achivement, like a natural miracle. That was a wonderfull idea, I really didn't know how bad I speak in english, now, I know, and I know that I have to improve this area in this lenguage. For me, it took a lot of time to do my presentation, also, I didn't realized that my voice is so creepy, so no more radio projects in the future. Well about your questions, I think there´s not only an answer, and I don´t know the right one, I think it depends, for example the meanings of the colors that I said was from the Theory of color, but like I said , all over the world give colors different meanings, sometimes culture influences that, personality of people, people´s mood, etc.

Margot: I didn´t know too that white was the color of dead in China, it´s really surprising how culture influences in that feeling, because for example here in Mexico I think most of people like white, because for me it´s the opposite of dead, white is a really bright color, but now we know that not always is the same like here in Mexico, we have to take care about what we use in funerals in other countries lol.
Manzur: Thank you, sometimes it´s unbelievable what Marketing can do to get more clients, nowadays there is a lot of competition between companies, so it´s really important to sell more, that is one of the critical factors for a company that allows them to continue in the market, so it´s important for them to use what they need to get that, and Marketing could be one of them.
Edwin: Hi, what do you think about Administration and Marketing? I hope you like them, and yes it could sound ridiculous that one change in Marketing could make a big difference , but it´s true, people is really creative and like to receive the same, so Marketing try to give them what they want, because at the end people is the one who is going to buy the products.
